Description
A perfect example as to why we blend these two grape varieties together. Great upfront fruit from the Sauvignon Blanc and leanness and length from the Semillon.

HARVEST:
2010 was a relatively warm and steady growing season for Margaret River resulting in fruit of exceptional quality. The grapes were able to obtain their optimum sugar and flavour ripeness without disease or rain pressure. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes displayed intense passionfruit and pineapple and pear characters.
WINEMAKING:
Grapes were harvested in the cool of the morning. They were crushed, destemmed and had 10 hours of skin contact. Skin contact results in greater flavour and fuller mouthfeel. To further heighten and intensify fresh aromatic fruit characters, an aromatic yeast strain was chosen and the juice fermented at cool temperatures.
NOSE:
The nose displays tropical fruit characters of pineapple, passionfruit and a touch of honeysuckle.
PALATE:
The palate is bright and zesty yet smooth and refined. Fine acidity lengthens the palate to a crisp clean finish.
CELLARING:
Drink now and until 2013.
