3pm - 6pm
When your child attends Hillsborough OOSH's After School Care program they will be collected from their school and arrive at Hillsborough OOSH to enjoy a delicious and nutritious afternoon tea followed by a game in which all the children participate together. Your child is then given the opportunity to play in the sandpit, the playground, a team sport or another organised activity. After these fun outdoors activities your child is welcome to participate in many enjoyable indoor activities including board games, puzzles, reading, Lego, dolls, playing shops and cars, card games, Nintendo Wii and will be able to use the computers. During this afternoon period your child will also have time to work on their homework and enjoy some craft activities. During the warmer months there may be extra time made available for your child to enjoy outside activities such as skipping, bat and ball games, zoingo boingos, and scooter boards, obstacle courses and badminton.
If your child is attending Hillsborough OOSH after 5pm there will be time for a late afternoon tea if desired; this will mainly consist of food you provide but could include any food left over from early afternoon tea.
Due to the children playing outside in the afternoons we ask that parents send water bottles as it saves multiple trips back to the room. For your child's comfort please ensure your child is dressed comfortably with special consideration to the activities that children are involved with during the day. Closed in footwear is compulsory.
