Our broad range of TC burrs with 3 mm shank dia. has been further expanded. These PFERD tools are now available in 75 mm shank length versions for problem solving in hard-to-reach areas.
Our existing sets are supplied in a new, highly resistant plastic packaging. Each burr is firmly secured and protected in the new pack. New, too, are two PFERD burr sets comprising the most common head shapes, mainly for workshop use.
Designed for tough machining tasks in shipyards, foundries and steel construction, our cut 3R and 3RS tungsten carbide burrs provide exceptional shock resistance and performance. Tooth breakage, chipping and burr head failure are minimized and/or prevented altogether. The PFERD range includes the most important head shapes and dimensions.
Our new tungsten carbide miniature burrs with ALU cut are suitable for delicate work on aluminium and non-ferrous metals. Compared to their counterparts with former-style cut patterns, these miniature burrs provide greatly enhanced stock removal and last almost twice as long in service.
For machining glass and carbon-fibre reinforced plastics (GRP/CRP), PFERD now offers TC burrs with an improved special FVKS cut. Delivering clearly improved stock removal rates, these tools also feature a drill end cut for combined drilling/milling work.
This PFERD range of high-speed steel (HSS) hole saws has been supplemented with a line ofHICOAT® coated step drills. Workpieces measuring up to 4 mm in thickness can thus be drilled and deburred in a single operation. The high-quality coating is wear resistant and supports work on many materials.
