Garlic is native to central Asia and is used to enhance the flavour of many foods
When cooked slowly, garlic has a mellow nutty taste. Never let garlic burn or it develops a bitter acid taste.
Great with roasted chicken or lamb, braised on wine, pureed, blanched or sautéed; garlic combines well with most herbs and spices.
Add to a salad, dressings, soups, butters, bread, Mediterranean or Indian dishes.
