These types of little animals will happily eat pellets, grains and a range of fresh fruit and vegetables as food. Just be aware there are some food you need to avoid.

They should also have a salt lick available at all times so they get the minerals they lack from their normal diet. Make sure they have a wood chew, this helps to keep their teeth nice and trim.
