We can now offer our customers Tasmanian Black Truffles, grown near Deloraine. We are hoping to have a steady supply in the store throughout the season.
Truffles, an internationally renowned food delicacy, have only found a home in Tasmania in fairly recently times. The highly-valued fungus is unearthed by specially trained dogs on farms in northern Tasmania. Truffles are in great demand in Europe and Japan, so we are pleased to have found a supply for our own customers.
