The Comfy Rider

The Comfy Rider is a manually operated wing back recliner that is very popular in nursing homes or group homes do to its range of features and compact size. The reclining motion can be operated either by the user or the carer with the aid of the metal push handle on the back of the backrest. The Comfy Rider uses the tilt in space style mechanism, the seat and backrest section of the chair are one thus there is no hip movement when reclining.

The chair comes standard with 75 mm diameter wheels with brakes on rear making it suitable to move chair whilst user still sitting in it. An optional slide out foot tray is available. 

The backrest can either be a fully adjustable 2 pillow or 3 pillow style with or without wings.
