Description
A traditional truncated pyramid shaped cheese, Valencay is liberally coated with vine ash and covered with a white mould rind.
It is a sweet, mushroomy rind, combined with complex, creamy, and nutty goat flavours and supported by just the right amount of salt and acidity.
These flavours fade very slowly from your mouth with the creamy nuttiness lingering very pleasantly.
