Fonty's Pool cool climate Chardonnay saturates the palate with vibrant, citrus fruit and hints of fresh stone-fruit. It is youthful and tightly coiled, with brisk acidity and discrete mineral elements. There is textural softness, moderate alcohol (13), with understated oak and an overall charm and elegance.
Vintage report 2010
The 2009 season was delayed roughly two weeks, due to unusually mild weather. A cool and wet November caused most
varieties to flower and set inconsistently and yields were estimated to be low and variable. However, the weather patterns for
the remainder of the season were almost ideal, which ripened all varieties well above expectations.

The brightness of fruit and elegant profile of this wine perfectly pairs with white fish, both delicate, lighter textured fish and
more robust flavoured fish. It also has the strength of flavour to match most chicken based dishes.
